Underwater Salvage
Salvage is serious work and often involves numerous parties including insurers, government agencies and private organisations.
If a vessel, boat, or item needs salvaging from the bottom of the seabed then you’ve come to the right place. First and foremost we are fully DNV-GL certified, which means we are able to work in partnership with all insurance companies and government bodies as our work meets their requirements and high standards. Secondly, we are highly experienced and confident in salvage and recovery works. From the very beginning we can conduct the initial survey dives and then come up with a robust desktop risk assessment and method statement. This will enable you to see exactly what is required and how we are going to go about executing the salvage. Salvage diving is a cross-discipline operation and often requires ultrathermic burning, hot tapping to remove fluids and fuel, subsea rigging, air lifting/dredging, surveys, and lift bags to be deployed. Salvage diving is perhaps the most dangerous form of diving that takes place commercially and therefore we pay great attention to the safety of our divers and support staff whilst conducting all salvage activities. Finally, we work with your insurers to provide the most cost effective and time efficient service possible – we won’t add unnecessary delays or blind you with diving jargon in order to make the job seem more complex than it is. When we salvage we do it quickly and effectively. Contact us to discuss how we can help salvage your ship or vessel.
